Lesley Anderson

Armed with a degree in Technical Communications from WPI and a fond affection for culinary wizard Alton Brown, Lesley Anderson has come into Backbone Media as a social media consultant and designated birthday cake maker. She hopes her love for creative writing and design will help to bring new ideas to the Scout blog team.

While in school, Lesley completed a 2-year e-marketing internship at WPI creating, designing and editing the email campaigns delivered to prospective students. This first sparked her interest in marketing and helped find a way to bridge her creativity with technology.

Originally studying music at Clark University, Lesley has always had a love for the arts, with leading and supporting roles in over 20 theatrical productions, having played the piano since toddler-hood, and having had artwork featured in museums and galleries by the age of 13. When not in the office, you may find her onstage, lying on the beach in her seaside hometown of Rockport, baking delicious cookies, playing with her guinea pigs, or sitting at the piano doing what she does best!
