Breakthrough mobile innovation will happen in B2B
Now, I have two apps now, and two years ago I had none – and this is in B2B. So, the art of B2B in mobile is really just getting going.
Writing for the app is very different, it’s also very interesting. No one is going to read a 30 page white paper on an app, so don’t try.
The data we get from the app is also very interesting; how long they spend with the app, how much they consume. Consumption patters like “when was the last time?”, “how long in between times firing up the app?” and also “what content brings them back to the app?”
This calls to mind that it’s basically a black-box art right now. So, we’re watching and we’re looking at B2C apps to see what we can learn – but I feel you’re going to start to see real breakthrough in B2B especially when it comes to the mobile space.
