Focus on the Customer
I think that next year, what we’ve really seen in the last year or two around content marketing – all the hype and discussions around it – will turn into more of the importance of customer experience – all the way from acquisition of customers to advocacy (especially for SaaS companies). Really, it’s simple why we should have so much focus on the customer. It’s that fully-engaged customers spend more, they stay around longer, and ultimately turn into advocates for our brands using their social power to recommend, refer, and ultimately sell our products or our services. So, next year will definitely going to be the year of the customer.
